Marlborough staff participated in a wonderful Indigenous Pro-D through Zoom that started the journey of how we can personalize our own land acknowledgments with April Strickland, District Indigenous Elementary Resource Teacher. April then introduced staff to the elements of Coast Salish art followed by a gallery of art each telling a story. We are so grateful to the rich experiences!
